Little Haven builds inclusive neighborhoods where affordability and accessibility

are permanent — and where people long shut out finally have a way in.

The Problem:

The Market Has Left Too Many Behind

Homeownership has become out of reach for far too many: low-income households, people with disabilities, single-income earners, and first-time buyers. The market wasn’t built for them. Rising costs, inaccessible designs, and policies that favor only a narrow slice of buyers have left whole groups of people shut out of a place to call their own.

Our Solution:

Neighborhoods That Open Doors — And Keep Them Open

Little Haven Homes is rewriting the rules of homeownership with a model that safeguards opportunity for the long term:

  • Small, Affordable Homes – Thoughtfully designed, durable, and energy-efficient.

  • Accessibility Built In – Modifications at no additional cost, meeting a wide range of needs.

  • Pocket Neighborhoods – Shared courtyards and walkable layouts foster connection and belonging.

  • Permanent Protections – Covenants that ensure affordability, accessibility, and owner-occupancy last for generations.

Our Impact:

Because Housing That Lasts Should Create Opportunity That Lasts

Our success isn’t measured only in homes built — it’s in lives changed. Each neighborhood delivers:

  • A fair chance at ownership for those shut out the longest.
  • Affordability and accessibility safeguarded in perpetuity.
  • A community fabric built on dignity, connection, and belonging.

“It’s only me so I don’t need something big. I just want something I can call mine.”

About Little Haven:

Why We Started

At Little Haven Homes, I’m building the kind of housing I once searched for — and still hope to live in myself.

Living with a disability, I learned that economy of movement isn’t just a preference — it’s essential. When the housing market failed to deliver a solution, I realized it wasn’t just my problem — it was a problem for many people.

The barriers I faced sparked the idea for Little Haven — to prove

housing can break barriers instead of build them.

Little Haven Homes was born from the conviction that no one should be shut out of ownership because of cost, policy, or design. By creating small, inclusive, community-focused neighborhoods, we’re proving that homeownership can be possible, permanent, and dignified for everyone.
