Our Mission

At Little Haven Homes, our mission is to expand equitable access to homeownership by building affordable, accessible small homes in community-focused neighborhoods.

We believe everyone deserves the stability, dignity, and opportunity that owning a home can provide — especially those historically excluded from that path.

Our Vision

Our vision is to transform the housing landscape by proving that small, people-centered developments can unlock big change — making homeownership possible for those too often shut out by cost, design, or policy. We believe in a future where homeownership is not a privilege for the few, but a foundation for dignity, stability, and belonging — for everyone.

Our Values

At Little Haven Homes, our work is rooted in the belief that everyone deserves a place to call home. These values guide us as we design, build, and grow communities:

  • Equity – We center those historically excluded from homeownership, ensuring dignity, fairness, and opportunity for all.

  • Accessibility – Homes should welcome everyone. We provide accessibility modifications at no additional cost to residents.

  • Affordability – Housing should be within reach. We design small-scale homes that reduce barriers to ownership.

  • Community – We believe strong neighborhoods foster connection, safety, and belonging. Pocket neighborhoods encourage shared stewardship and support.

  • Sustainability – Small homes and thoughtful design reduce environmental impact and create resilient communities.

  • Integrity – We lead with honesty, transparency, and accountability in all we do.

Guiding Principles

1. People-First... Always    We prioritize people over profits in every decision  from home design to financing models  recognizing that housing is not just shelter, but a foundation for well-being and belonging.

2. Design for Access, Not Just Asthetics    We commit to homes that are beautiful and functional for people of all abilities.  Accessibility is not a feature  it's a right.

3. Ownership as a Tool for Equity    We believe ownership can be a powerful means of restoring generational opportunity and economic security for those long denied access.

4. Build Small, Think Big    We embrace small-scale homes and pocket neighborhoods as a way to create lasting, scalable change — enhancing livability, affordability, and connection.

5. Partnership Over Prestige    We collaborate with communities, policymakers, nonprofits, and local builders, not to elevate ourselves, but to achieve collective input.

6. Affordability Without Compromise    Cost should never be a barrier to quality or accessibility.  We innovate to deliver lasting value, not just lower prices.

7. Place-Based Solutions for Real People    We adapt our models to reflect the lived realities of the people and places we serve rejecting one-size-fits-all approaches.
